Welcome to the personal website of Ackim Williams: technology evangelist and overall problem solver.

As a technology evangelist, I am an early adopter, often playing with not-yet-ready-for-production technologies/ideas contributing code or feedback. I often comb through github for new or improvements to open source projects which show potential.

As a strategist, I've helped clients utilize emerging technology to create new business models, identifing revenue opportunities and out-maneuvering competitors. With my deep understanding of the relationship between technology adoption and its impact on business processes, I optimize process by mixing technology with strategy.

Since 2004, I have not only provided technology advice to clients, but has also served in roles of project manager, consultant and lead programmer/architect, working in several industries spanning real estate, insurance, marketing and advertising, cosmetics, and transportation. I provide end-to-end oversight of software project management, leading the research, design, development, documentation, testing and rollout of enterprise applications.

When not socializing, I spend my freetime coding, at meetups, playing chess, or playing various sports games.
